White With One April Challenge

Here is my layout for White with 1

I love the dramatic effect black and white creates.
I have used some MME, Delish, and Jenny Bowlin papers, inked an embossed white card and used, LYB flocked stickers and MME lettering.

New Layouts to Share

Today is a good day for sharing. Some simple layouts using both new and old papers. There is nothing like finally using some of that stash we all have.
This is a recent photo of Tom and Alana but the papers have been in  my stash for a number of years. The coloured swirls were cut from one paper and popped with foam tape
Then l added liquid pearls to some of the swirls for  added texture
This is hard to see but l have filled in the shapes with liquid dimension

This layout uses new papers, mostly from Echo Park, with coordinating stickers and chipboard elements.
I did some layering and distressing with raised embellishments, painted a chipboard corner, added some little flowers and a doilly. My journalling is on a tag hiding under the photo

This layout is on a gorgeous piece of paper by My Minds Eye

I added some patterned chipboard, prima flowers, cut up a chipboard frame and painted it,
a butterfly from Kaiser, 2 circles cut from  Spellbinders Nestabilities and a sheer ribbon

Thanks for looking and have a great day

HOME CHALLENGE

This is the sketch to be used incorporating the word "HOME" that l have done for Once Upon a Sketch

And here is my layout
I used a couple of  Heidi Swapp masks to make my back ground and then layered 3 doilies that were inked and then threaded ribbon through. I also added a selection of flowers to match the colour theme, cut a bling swirl up and added some stickers from Kaiser that l mounted onto cardboard. The word cards are from Echo Park, This & That Collection which l added some cross stitches to add some more dimension

Here is a close up

My Creative Scrapbook Sketch

It's a new sketch over at MCS and as usual the prize is awesome. They really do give the most wonderful giveaways, Pam is extra generous.
So to the sketch...

Here is what l did this month using the very pretty Echo Park papers and embellishments
And here are some close ups. I did lots of layering, added liquid pearl drops to the pink circles, some distressing, tearing and stitching and misted the top paper. The tag at the top right of the page holds my journalling.
